LOSS STORY BY KRAV MAGA TRAINING
Congratulations Thresa, Keep up the hard work!
When I first started taking
Krav Maga classes last summer, I weighed 190 pounds. I had trouble finishing the
warm-up and had to stop to use my asthma inhaler several times during class.
After a few weeks, I noticed I was not using my inhaler as much and that I had
started dropping weight. In August, I signed up with a nutritionist. With the
healthier eating plan and attending Krav classes, I quickly saw the weight melt
away.

In December, 2009, I
attained my first goal: I passed the level 1 test which lasted nearly 4 ½ hrs!
It was then I decided to keep up the good work and train hard because I wanted
to get into the police academy. Now, 7 months later, I have lost 53 pounds,
don’t use my asthma inhaler at all and I have passed several of the police
academy entrance tests, including a physical agility test. I would not be where
I am today, if it were not for the encouragement and support from all my Krav
instructors and classmates/friends. They have been a big support group for me. I
am grateful for having them all in my life. People ask me where to start and I
say make small goals each day and keep making them. Every time I have met a
goal, I feel so empowered and confident. I believe Krav Maga changed my life and
I am a stronger, better and healthier person. I am confident that if I had to
defend myself, I would not hesitate to protect myself or my loved ones. Krav
Maga is simple, practical and easy to learn.
